The Ziegenfelder Company Backs the AHC

As June 10th nears, we're thrilled to announce that the Almost Heaven Classic, will be sweetened by the sponsorship of The Ziegenfelder Company, a household name in the world of frozen treats. This century-old, family-owned business has graciously agreed to be the Putting Contest Sponsor, bringing a touch of its icy delight to the summer competition.

Each golfer competing in the AHC will have an attempt to win this West Virginia-themed Scotty Cameron Putter!

Headquartered in Wheeling, West Virginia, Ziegenfelder has been a significant part of its local community. Employing over 500 people across three manufacturing facilities in the United States, Ziegenfelder has actively supported a variety of local charities, and sponsored the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra and the Wheeling Island Casino, among other endeavors.

Ziegenfelder's roots stretch back to 1921 when John Ziegenfelder churned out the first batches of ice cream in his basement. A hundred years later, the company stands as one of the largest frozen treat manufacturers in the United States, offering a wide array of products including ice pops, water ice, and fruit bars under the well-loved Twin Pops, Budget Saver, and Ziegenfelder brands.

At the Almost Heaven Classic, golfers and spectators alike can expect Ziegenfelder's frozen popsicles onsite, providing a refreshing respite from the heat of competition. Whether you're an enthusiastic golfer participating in the Putting Contest or a keen observer enjoying the day, these delightful treats are sure to make your experience more enjoyable.
