Here’s how the AHC Golf Team Giveaway works
To enter the AHC Golf Team Giveaway, make at least ONE $10 donation to the pool. For every $10 you donate, your name will be added to the list, and then we'll randomly pick a winner by the middle of May.
Example: A $50 donation means you're entered 5 times. So increase your chances by donating what ya can afford to!
You’ll win a 4-person golf team, where you’ll compete for glory on the renowned Cobb Course at the Resort at Glade Springs on June 8th. This includes giveaways, contests, drinks and post-round dinner. Not to mention a chance to slip on the custom made West Virginia Jacket!

What cause does the donation pool support?
100% of the money raised supports Leadership Fayette County , which is a program for selected high school juniors across Fayette County. The purpose of the program is to promote essential leadership qualities in the students while providing first hand experiences in the business, government, and tourism sectors of Fayette County, West Virginia.
LFC is the brainchild of David W. Pollard (Fayette County Resource Coordinator, 1995-2014) jointly developed and delivered by the 501C3 Fayette County Education Fund, Inc. (FCEF) the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, and the Fayette County Board of Education and modeled after the highly acclaimed and successful Leadership West Virginia program (developed in 1991) by the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the State of West Virginia.
The team of individuals who represent LFC are proud to work with and serve the students of Fayette County, believing that opportunities are key to ensuring that young leaders are equipped with confidence and desire to continue creating a better community.

The Almost Heaven Classic serves as our annual gathering of passionate Mountaineers who are actively helping the state grow and move in a positive direction.
June 7th: Networking Event at Adventures on the Gorge
Aside from the networking, our keynote panel at Adventures on the Gorge is set with Curtis Fleming, Jina Belcher, and Chris Fussell taking centerstage to discuss how outdoor recreation is playing a pivotal role in West Virginia’s economic turnaround.
Your Friday ticket includes entry to the professional networking session, panel discussion, food and drink, and live performance from Phil Bowen, who’s returning home to perform.
June 8th: Golf Tournament at Glade Springs Resort
Ready to hit the links?! On Saturday, we’ll make our way to The Resort at Glade Springs where 30 golf teams will compete for glory on the renowned Cobb Course.
The golf tournament at the renowned Cobb Course at Glade Springs Resort is sold out! However, the waitlist is still open if you’re interested in playing.
A portion of this year’s event revenue from the networking event and golf tournament once again supports the Almost Heaven Scholarship Fund, which helps send West Virginia students to college in the Mountain State.
