Bio

Jessica Neal was born and raised in Bluefield West Virginia.  She is a former Mercer County resident and teacher; she is also a former heroin addict.  She has been nominated for “Teacher of the Year” twice and sat with fellow nominees at Fincastle Country Club in Bluefield Virginia.  She has also sat in an abandoned house, infested with roaches and bed bugs, smoking crack, and sharing syringes with fellow heroin users.  

She has lived her life from one extreme to the next and now she is doing her part to provide education and awareness to the community in an effort to help those still in need and help break the stigma associated with addiction.
