The new West Virginia Turnpike travel plazas will blow you away

If you ever traveled through southern West Virginia, you've most likely passed the world-famous Tamarack and the Beckley travel plaza.

Although Tamarack is one of the coolest places in the state, the travel plaza has needed an upgrade for a long, long time. Finally though, it’s going to happen and holy pepperoni roll, the mock drawings are amazing!

Last week, Governor Jim Justice announced major upgrades are coming to the Beckley Travel Plaza and the Bluestone Travel Plaza in Princeton, and here’s what they look like.

On the outside and on the inside - and keep an eye out for the small West Virginia details.

These are going to be huge upgrades, with completion expected by the end of 2024.

I really love the blend futuristic look on the outside and the rustic, mountainous cabin design on the inside.

What else should the travel plazas include? Let us know here.
